The Brunei Darussalam Paintball Open 2019 was launched on Saturday morning, 9th March 2019 with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Paintball Arena @ Jerudong by the guest of honour, Yang Berhormat Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Minister ofCulture, Youth & Sports Brunei Darussalam.
Also present during the launch were Royal Brunei Technical Services Sdn Bhd (RBTS) CEO, Colonel (Rtd) Muzri bin Haji Mokhsin & the organizing committee.
YB was also introduced to the Paintball team captains, managers and players. A total of 23 teams from 4
ASEAN countries took part in the tournament – Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
Over the weekend, teams will be battling out to become the first ever BPO Champion, with a prize pool
of over USD 11,000.00!

Jerudong was held on Sunday 10th March 2019, at Jerudong Sports Complex, Brunei Darussalam.
The Guest of Honour of the ceremony was the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Tourism), Yang Mulia Awg
Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali.
Also in attendance were RBTS CEO, staff and participants of the tournament.
A total of 23 teams from 4 countries competed in the first ever international paintball event in Brunei
Darussalam. The Guest of Honour presented the prizes to winners for all Paintball Division.
