OFFICIALS from the Ministry of Defence (MinDef) and Royal Brunei Technical Services (RBTS) will be in Kuala Lumpur to attend the Defence Services Asia Conferences and Exhibition at Putra World Trade Centre from April 21 to 24, stated a press release.
During this event, MinDef will also host a reception to promote the Brunei Darussalam International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) 2009, which is scheduled for Aug 11-15 at the Empire Hotel and Country Club. Over 180 exhibitors, delegates and trade visitors from 20 countries are expected to attend the reception.
It is also part of an initiative by RBTS as the appointed organizer of next year’s BRIDEX to continually promote the upcoming event to potential regional and international exhibitors, as well as trade visitors.
The reception will also provide attendees and visitors with some information and an opportunity to network with their counterparts in a relaxed environment in line with BRIDEX 2009’s aims to provide a “Unique experience in defence business facilitation”.
BRIDEX is an integrated tri-service defence and security exhibition that will bring together some 250 defence and security companies worldwide to unveil and showcase their latest, most innovative and value-enhancing technology solutions in land, naval and aerospace systems.
