On Wednesday 15th April, the incubatees at the ICentre were given an opportunity to share their ideas in iCentres’s own Chief Information Officers (CIO) Exchange Programme with personnel from the Royal Brunei Technical Services (RBTS). The event was held at the iCentre, Anggerek Desa.
The event began with a presentation from RBTS. In his presentation, Lt Col (Rtd) Hj Amir Hamzah stressed that one has to know and understand what the customer needs, to have the old and new things work together and most importantly, have the urge to move forward and look for more business opportunities.
A total of seven incubates gave their presentation on their products, services and an overview of their company’s profile.
The CIO Exchange Series is a series of sessions that aims to provide business development and marketing opportunities to incubatees by receiving business management assistance at the iCentre. It provides an effective platform where incubatees can pitch their innovative products and services to the CIOs from government and private sector organisations. It is also meant for CIO officers to share their ICT plans and project needs.
Mr Hui said: “The benefits of the CIO Exchange presentations provides opportunities for the business incubatees to gain valuable market feedback and benefit from the experience of the participating organisations.”
